WHAT TYPES OF MEDICATIONS DO YOU DISPENSE?

Cumberland Pharmacy dispenses all types of medication, including compounded medications.

DO YOU OFFER COMPLIANCE PACKAGING?

Yes. Also known as blister packaging, compliance packs make it easy to remember when and how to take all of your medication.

DO YOU OFFER MEDSCHECK?

Yes, our pharmacists provide complimentary medication reviews, also known as MedsChecks. The pharmacist reviews your lifestyle, medication and supplement regimens, optimizing each. Your treatment goals are discussed and resources are provided to you for the betterment of your health.

ARE FLU-SHOTS AVAILABLE AT CUMBERLAND PHARMACY?

Yes, the pharmacy participates in the flu vaccine administration every year.

Do you Offer Injection Service?

Yes we offer this service for a small fee.  Our Pharmacists are trained to administer intra Muscular as well as intra Dermal injections like travel Vaccines, B12 Injection, Prolia, and  many more. Please call for more detail or just walk in.

I NEED A COMPOUNDED PRESCRIPTION MADE.

Cumberland pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy, and is classified as a level A facility. We can meet many of your compounding needs, If required we will direct to a appropriate Pharmacy.

DO YOU OFFER MINOR AILMENTS PRESCRIBING? IS THERE A COST?

Yes, minor ailments prescribing is offered by the pharmacy team. There is no cost to patients for the consult, it is covered by OHIP.

WHICH MINOR AILMENTS CAN A PHARMACIST PRESCRIBE FOR?

  • Acne

  • Allergic rhinitis

  • Canker sores (Aphthous Ulcers )

  • Oral thrush  ( Candidal stomatitis )

  • Conjunctivitis - pink eye (bacterial, allergic and viral)

  • Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic and contact)

  • Diaper Rash

  • Dysmenorrhea ( Period related pain)

  • Acidity _Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Herpes labialis (cold sores)

  • Impetigo ( skin infection, Boil)

  • Insect bites and urticaria (hives)

  • Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease

  • Musculoskeletal sprains and strains

  • Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy

  • Pinworms and threadworms

  • Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated)

  • Vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

DO I NEED TO PHYSICALLY COME TO THE PHARMACY FOR A MINOR AILMENT CONSULTATION?

Not necessarily. Consultations can be done over the phone. However, if deemed necessary by professional judgement, the pharmacist may ask you to come in person for your particular ailment.

DO YOU OFFER FREE PRESCRIPTION DELIVERY?

Yes! Free prescription delivery is available across the GTA for all of our customers.
